Bullying among schoolmates within the school grounds have been rampant all throughout the world. A trending video circulated through social media wherein a girl was badly beaten in front of her classmates.
Paisley Daily Express mentioned that a schoolgirl from Gleniffer High School in Paisley, Scotland was badly beaten by her classmates. The students ganged up on her as some were laughing in the background. The bullying took a while, until someone called for it to stop.
Mother Comes To Her Daughter's Defense
The schoolgirl's mother was badly hurt with the incident. She told the press that her daughter didn't do anything to start the fight. She shared the sentiments by voicing out that what the students did was "sickening."
"My daughter didn't want to fight that other girl, but she was attacked anyway," the girl's mother said. "She is sore and bruised from the attack but that fact that it was filmed has made it worse. It has been shared over Facebook and when she went back to school other pupils had been laughing about it. It's pretty sickening to be honest."
Bullying Remains A Rampant Issue
Bullying among school children is becoming rampant not just in the United States. Several experts suggest that the parent should be responsible for their kid's bad behavior. According to Parenting website, parents are responsible to training the child the way that they should grow.
Everyday Life then added that parents are the influential factors as they have control over their children. Bullies are usually hot-tempered, aggressive and controlling, all of which are individual attributes that the child could potentially copy or acquire for their parents.
But Who Is To Blame?
The argument on who's to blame in raising a bully is still questionable. As some of point out that it's the parents fault, there are those that would blame the teacher. Bullying mostly occur in school campuses, thus the school's guidance is being questioned. It is still an going debate as to whether bullies are born, or made.
