Scott Cawthon's "Five Nights at Freddy's" is the most popular horror-survival game at the time. There is something in it that entice players to keep playing it. To give fans more reason to enjoy the "FNAF" series, Cawthon developed a new installment dubbed as "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location." However, according to new reports, "FNAF" fans should not expect for the new "FNAF" iteration soon.

'Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location' Release Date Not Yet Set

According to MNR Daily, Scott Cawthon has yet to give new details about the launch of "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location." The developer is fast at what he does and often releases his game earlier than his announced release date.

So, one "FNAF" gamer asked him if the game will have an early release date. "No more early release dates," Scott Cawthon said.

"Instead, from now on, if I finish the game early then I'll spend the extra time polishing the game and adding features," Cawthon wrote on Steam. Fans were glad that this time, Cawthon would release the game on its exact date.

'Five Nights at Freddy's' Remake Coming To Consoles

Meanwhile, Design & Trend reported that "Five Nights at Freddy" might be coming out for consoles like Wii U. One "FNAF" fan asked Scott Cawthon in a separate Steam page if his games will be ported to consoles, given that they will suit it very well.

For "FNAF" fans who are also hoping to experience "Five Nights at Freddy's" in consoles, there is a big chance that it will soon happen. "Actually, yes! It will happen. I'm talking with a few companies who are interested in doing console remakes of the original games. :)," Scott Cawthon replied.

Springtrap To Return in 'Five Nights at Freddy's'

MNR Daily notes that the popular character in the "Five Nights at Freddy's" lore, Springtrap might return to the franchise for good. Scott Cawthon expressed his interest in bringing Springtrap back in "FNAF," but noted that his return should make sense in the story.

Unfortunately, fans might not see the character anytime soon. However, some are still hoping to see if Springtrap would make an appearance in "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location."
