Vanessa Lachey is enjoying her motherhood in its actual spirit.
The "Wipeout" host revealed her hectic schedule after the birth of her son Camden John Lachey, with Us Weekly.
"I haven't slept since September 12," Vanessa explained to Us Weekly. "It takes so long to feed and change and swaddle him. But it's worth!"
The 31-year-old former Miss Teen USA started dating Nick after meeting him at the shooting of his music video "What's Left of Me." The couple confirmed the pregnancy news during "Live! With Kelly" in March 2012 and welcomed Camden on Sept.12.
According to Vanessa, diaper duty is the toughest challenge she experienced as a mother.
"His first blowout, I made two rookie mistakes: No. 1, I didn't put a diaper underneath the old one, and No. 2, I didn't let him finish. Nick and I laughed ourselves to tears," she told Us Weekly.
The new mom also gets ample support from her singer husband Nick.
"He's the best! I'm really lucky. He changes them a lot. Since I nurse, Nick sees that as his bonding time. He'll talk and sing to him while doing it," Vanessa told the magazine.
The proud mom cannot stop talking while referring about her cute son with blue eyes.
"He's smiling at the sound of our voices now. He's so peaceful -- he just sits there and takes it all in with his bright blue eyes. He has his daddy's eyes!"
