Khloe Kardashian has accused the Australian morning show "Sunrise" of lying about the sudden end to the reality TV star's recent appearance to promote her new line of baby clothes she shares with her famous sisters.
On Twitter, Kardashian lashed out and called the show "desperate" after its hosts, Sam Armytage and David Koch, accused her of cutting the interview short the minute she was asked questions about niece North West.
"Sunrise" producers immediately tweeted after the video feed went blank that the team behind the Kardashians "pulled the plug." They tweeted: "We thought it was technical glitch but it turns out @KhloEKardashian's people pulled the plug after @Sam_armytage asked about baby North."
The hosts of the show later on discussed the incident that transpired and were critical of Kardashian. Armytage said that she used to quite like the reality star before and even said that their show was instrumental in providing the star with opportunities to promote her brand.
Kardashian immediately denied such allegations on her own Twitter account.
"Why would I cut an interview short because of North? Get over yourself Sunrise... The call dropped... stop reaching for a story. You are so f**king desperate!" she posted.
Michael Pell, "Sunrise" producer, maintained their stand on the issue and said that Kardashian's PR team had stopped the interview.
"What happened with @khloekardashian on the show is a good lesson for publicists everywhere. Don't try to censor natural conversation," he tweeted.
"Sunrise" took to their website to reiterate their stance that the sudden ending of the interview was not consistent with a satellite drop out.
