Planned Parenthood announced that it will be providing aid for the transgender community. Planned Parenthood offices all throughout the United States are now promoting prescriptions intended for hormone therapy. Planned Parenthood also offers health and surgical services for transgender individuals.
According to Planned Parenthood, transgender services are being pushed. They're aimed towards the transgender people and to those who are in the same phase in terms of gender identity.
If ever the medical criteria among transgender people will be met, they will be covered by Medicare and Medicaid. Their hormone therapy and sex changes surgeries will also be covered in some states. It was also stated that some insurance companies will also cover the same treatment.
Planned Parenthood has been caught up with several controversies. Last year, they were placed on a hot seat after it was reported that they were selling body parts of aborted fetuses. As the news escalated, members of the Congress announced that they will stop Planned Parenthood's federal funding if they will be proven guilty. Up to this date, the investigation is still being processed.
LifeNews then added that Planned Parenthood's CEO made a written statement presented to the congress stating that they will not stop selling fetus body part. David Daleiden, the person responsible for the Center for Medical Progress stated that Planned Parenthood's CEO was proud of their body parts harvesting program.
"Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards admits in her written testimony before Congress today that she is 'proud' of Planned Parenthood's baby body parts harvesting program," Daleiden told LifeNews. In person, Planned Parenthood's CEO frequently hid behind the corporate veil of Planned Parenthood's affiliates and could not provide basic information about Planned Parenthood's abortion revenue and fetal harvesting practices."
Contrary to the claims that Planned Parenthood sells fetal body parts, Rolling Stones mentioned that Planned Parenthood does not sell aborted fetus. It was noted that no black market was found selling baby body parts. Ten states have already been investigated but to no avail.
The Planned Parenthood controversy still lingers, yet it is not yet proven truthful up to this date. Do you support Planned Parenthood? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
