'Tekken 7' Released Date, News & Update: Title Coming Out To PS4 And Xbox One Later This Year?

"Tekken 7" is one of the most anticipated games for years. "Tekken" fans have been looking forward to its arrival because they want to get their hands on it. Unfortunately, Bandai Namco is keen on keeping things about the title under wraps. However, according to reports, "Tekken 7" might be out late this year.

'Tekken 7' Coming Out Late This Year

According to Christian Today, when the "Tekken 7" arcade version is released in Japan, Katsuhiro Harada confirmed that the title will be available to the home system and promised a complete and enhanced edition.

"When the game makes the leap from arcades to console, it will be the most complete and enhanced version up to date," series producer Katsuhiro Harada said through a translator. "We also have special content in the works that's sure to please PlayStation fans," Katsuhiro said per Destructoid.

Meanwhile, speaking of release date, there are rumors that "Tekken 7" will be coming out late this year. However, Bandai Namco has not confirmed this yet and Katsuhiro has not announced an official date for the upcoming title yet. Thus, fans should still take this report with a grain of salt.

'Tekken 7' Coming Out To PS4, Xbox One

There are rumors that "Tekken 7" is coming out for PS4 and Xbox One. However, Bandai Namco declined to comment about these reports. But per Destructoid, "Tekken 7" is officially coming to PS4. Aside from this, there are talks that the title will also come with PlayStation Virtual Reality support.

'Tekken X Street Fighter' Delayed Due To 'Street Fighter V'

While "Tekken 7" is expected to arrive late this year. Those waiting for the crossover game, "Tekken X Street Fighter" would need to wait a bit longer. Bandai Namco decided to halt the development of the game because Capcom just released "Street Fighter V."

Harada told GameSpot that they do not want to confuse and split the gaming community between "Street Fighter V" and "Tekken X Street Fighter." Since the latter is a collaboration with Capcom, they opted to delay it to give way for "Street Fighter V."
