A Son for Tamera Mowry

Actress Tamera Mowry-Housely is a proud new mom.

The "Sister Sister" star and husband Adam Housley welcomed their first son Aden John Tanner Housley Monday nearly two weeks after the due date. The new addition was born at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles weighing 9 pounds and 5 ounces at birth, according to Style.

"Adam and I feel very blessed to finally be holding our son," Tamera told Style. "He is a beautiful miracle, and our hearts are overflowing with love. Thank you to everyone for your love and support. It means so much to our family."

Later, the overjoyed mother came forward on Twitter, giving a glimpse about her new role as a mother.

"@adamhousley and I are beyond so n luv with our son," she wrote shortly after welcoming her son.

Tamera married Fox News Correspondent Housley last May and announced pregnancy April this year. The 33-year-old, was due Oct.30 was actually concerned about her lengthy pregnancy and the delay in her son's arrival.

"I can now say that I am down to the wire. I seriously feel like I have been pregnant forever. Almost 10 months to be exact! Thirty-nine weeks in and no baby yet," the actress, told PopularCritci.com. "If I have yet to learn practice, my son is in the process of teaching me now."

Twin sister Tia , who has a 15-month-old son Cree Taylor with husband actor Cory Hardrict shared her joy through Twitter account.

"Yay!!! I can finally now say! I am an auntie!!!! Can we say chunk munk!!! So happy & blessed! Cree now has a play date! He is beaituful!" Tia wrote.
