“Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco finalized her divorce from tennis pro Ryan Sweeting on May 9, 2016. The couple previously announced that they were ending their marriage in October 2015.
The divorce documents were filed on May 6, 2016 and featured the settlement agreement between Kaley Cuoco, 30 and Ryan Sweeting, 28. The two entered a prenuptial agreement before, so their respectively earnings before their marriage will be protected.
What Kaley Cuoco Gets From The Split
Kaley Cuoco reportedly had a contract valued at $72 million for starring in the hit CBS sitcom before she wed Ryan Sweeting in 2013. The court documents stated that the actress gets to keep the entire amount, together with her house in Tarzana in Los Angeles and a beach home in Santa Barbara.
According to TMZ, Kaley Cuoco earned $1 million per episode on “Big Bang Theory” and appeared 72 times, which resulted to the giant $72 million sum. All that cash was protected when the signed the prenuptial agreement.
Us Weekly revealed that as for Ryan Sweeting, the divorce will leave him with only $165,000, which Kaley Cuoco will forward in two payments. The actress will also pay for Ryan Sweeting’s two personal trainers, whom the tennis player has a pending bill with, valued at $195,000 and up to $55,000 in lawyer fees. All cash and gift certificates under Ryan Sweeting’s possession will be left with him as well.
Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting were married for almost 21 months. When they first announced their plan to divorce through Cuoco’s agent, they said that the decision was mutual and asked for privacy at the time.
