Things are getting speedy on "The Flash" Season 2. With only two episodes left, Grant Gustin's Barry Allen is now strong with the Speed Force but The Flash also has to face Teddy Sears' Zoom and his gallery of Rogues. In addition to that, Zoom has enlisted Laurel Lance's Earth-2 counterpart Black Siren to terrorize Central City. Can The Flash defeat Black Canary's evil doppelganger? Or will Zoom finally win?
The Return Of Laurel Lance
Katie Cassidy has played Laurel Lance from the first season of "Arrow" up until the character's death in the Season 4 episode "Eleven-Fifty-Nine." Laurel Lance's death has been a controversial move for "Arrow" Season 4, especially since fans saw it as the show's attempt to ship Oliver Queen's relationship with Felicity Smoak.
Nevertheless, it looks like Black Canary is gone for good from "Arrow." But her Earth-2 doppelganger Black Siren is slated to appear in "The Flash" Season 2 episode "Invincible" as Zoom's new ally.
Black Siren's Not So Secret Weapon
Evil Laurel Lance has already been featured in the trailer for "The Flash" Season 2 Episode 22, and it looks like she is even more powerful than Black Canary. Black Siren is seen showing off her Canary Cry in Central City, and it looks like it has a devastating effect on The Flash. Will Zoom use Black Siren and her Canary Cry to incapacitate The Flash?
The New Speedsters
The synopsis for "The Flash" Season 2 Episode 22 (via ComicBook) has revealed that Keiynan Lonsdale's Wally West will be helping Barry Allen on the streets of Central City. Does this mean that Wally West has officially taken on the Kid Flash mantle?
In addition to that, Jesse Wells was jolted back to life by the Speed Force when Barry Allen touched her in "The Flash" Season 2 Episode 21. Fans are already speculating that she will become Jesse Quick really soon.
"Invincible," the 22nd episode of "The Flash" Season 2, will air on The CW on May 17. In the meantime, Teddy Sears talks about more Zoom spoilers on Kevin Smith's Fat Man on Batman podcast in the video below.
