Kit Harington graces the cover of the latest issue of L'Umo Vogue right after "Game of Thrones" confirmed his character's resurrection in the newest season. While everyone keeps on speculating if and how will Jon Snow rise from the dead, Kit Harington was busy observing his fans' reactions.
Jon Snow's Death
In an interview with the magazine, Kit Harington revealed that he learned a lot from how fans took the Lord Commander's death in the season five of "Game of Thrones," E! News reported. Jon Snow, the Lord Commander of Castle Black, was stabbed to death by his followers in the last season.
"Having to maintain absolute secrecy for so long has been a formidable test for understanding the psychology of other people on the basis of assumptions made," Kit Harrington tells L'Uomo. "What I realized is that many people feel they have a much stronger connection with Jon Snow than I do."
Sophie Turner Convinced With Jon Snow's Death
Speaking of Jon Snow's death, Daily Mail UK reported on how Sophie Turner was so convinced with Kit Harrington's lies about his character in "Game of Thrones" that she ended up giving him a heartfelt goodbye letter. "It was kept from me, Kit told me in the fifth season he was going that was it," she told British daytime TV show "This Morning," News.com.au added.
She later revealed that Kit Harrington has been "taking the mickey' after reading the emotional letter. He reportedly kept the letter and has been poking fun at her.
Favorite Part In The 'Game Of Thrones'
Kit Harrington also shared one of his favorite memories from "Game of Thrones." The three-week shooting on Iceland during season two was one for the books.
"Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love," Kit Harrington said. "If you're already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love."
Rose Leslie played the character of Ygritte, Jon Snow's wildling girlfriend who died near the end of "Game of Thones" Season 4. She popularized the line, "You know nothing, Jon Snow." Leslie and Harington had been a real-life couple since 2012.
You can learn more about Harington when L'Uomo Vogue hits stands on Friday, May 13. "Game of Thrones" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO. Check out the sneak preview below:
