Playboy revealed its 2016 Playmate of the Year on Wednesday at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills, after four months of releasing non-nude images. Eugena Washington was introduced to the world as the 57th Playmate of the Year and the third African-American to hold the title.
Along for being Playboy's Playmate of the Year, Eugena Washington got a whopping $100,000 along with a Fiat 124 Spider sports car and will be seen in Playboy magazine's June 2016 non-nude cover. She will be spotted half naked in the pool while lying down on a raft holding a drink and sporting a grin.
Fox News revealed that Eugena Wilson was shocked to learn that she became Playboy's Playmate of the Year. The 31-year-old model shared that someone from Playboy called her up for "an audition."
Then, the rest is history; people behind the magazine congratulated her as she was named as Playboy's 2016 Playmate of the Year. In fact, she disclosed that working with Hugh Hefner is one of her dreams.
According to Yahoo! Style, being Playmate of the Year came at the best time for Eugena Washington. "The world is changing. I hope this brings different eyes to the magazine and new audiences," the 31-year-old model said.
Eugena Wilson, too, revealed that being called as the Playmate of the Year is a good start for the new chapter of her life. She described that she's enjoying every minute of it and doing everything she want to do.
E! News added that Eugena Washington was first known as one of Tyra Bank's aspiring models in "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 7 in 2006. The South Carolina girl competed greatly and got the second runner-up place.
Eugena Washington was also seen in B.o.B''s music video, "Nothin'." She, too, has been named as Playboy's Playmate of the Month in December 2015.
