The wait is over for PC gamers! The PC version of "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" is out on Steam giving PC gamers the chance to revisit Spira. A Square Enix live stream released the details for this much awaited PC game, 15 years after its initial release. What's more, PC gamers will enjoy the seven in-game boosters and other features that were previously not included in North American "Final Fantasy" versions.
'Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster' 7 In-Game Boosters
"Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" collection is a revamp of two "Final Fantasy" games. It combines both "Final Fantasy X" and "Final Fantasy X-2," according to Rock Paper Shotgun. Now with seven in-game boosters, "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" collection may just make other "Final Fantasy" versions a thing of the past.
The "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" seven in-game boosters include gamer options that will allow alteration of gameplay speed at either 2x or 4x. Frequency of enemy encounters is now in the hands of gamers. Options to hide the HUD were included as well.
Winning a game of "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" may be within reach as one can earn maximum money. The ability to unlock all skills comes with the package too.
Multiple Graphics Options For "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster"
At 30 FPS, the game will be just like its PlayStation releases, said Gamespresso. However, Square Enix made it a point to add multiple graphics options for the benefit of PC gamers who have varied screen resolutions. Some graphics options PC gamers can tweak with "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" include texture quality, brightness, screen mode, anti-aliasing and a lot more.
Since "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" caters to both Japanese and American PC gamers, Square Enix allowed dual audio options. Changing the audio to Japanese will also change subtitles and menus, but for "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" fans, this will not be a problem.
Mixing Audio Not Possible
"Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" PC gamers will have to be contented with one language. It's not possible to have a mix of English and Japanese.
Now out on Steam, "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" will hit PCs with one click of a button. Until May 19, it is still at a discounted rate.
