'X-Men/Deadpool' Crossover News & Update: Director Bryan Singer Approves Of 'X-Men/Deadpool' Crossover Happening!

The biggest box office hit this year is none other than the R-rated superhero film "Deadpool" and there is no question to its success as the film pushes boundaries and truly stands on its very own. Now due to the success of "Deadpool" fans have been quite critical with another Marvel film, which just came out in theaters not too long ago, and no, this is not "Captain America: Civil War", this is a long time and well-beloved movie franchise "X-Men: Apocalypse".

"X-men: Apocalypse", which is the ninth movie franchise of Marvel's "X-Men" did not entirely have an outstanding performance in its opening week, and this could be worrisome for the studio handling it as well as director Bryan Singer, who has been with the "X-Men" film for more than a decade now. Now, fans are asking whether there is possibility that the mutant superhero, Deadpool will be appearing in any future "X-men" films since Deadpool has quite a big following.

There is a huge possibility that Deadpool might appear as a cameo in future "X-men" films since the superhero himself in comic books did have at some point join the X-Men and even on the recent "Deadpool" film, Deadpool did go to the Xavier's school for mutants and was even joined by two other mutants. Bryan Singer also commented on the possibility of a Deadpool/X-Men crossover.

"If you take a character as irreverent and meta as Deadpool and connect him to something as grounded and serious as X-Men, you have to do it carefully and gently. When you drop them all in together it can be a disaster. That has to be done delicately, but there's plenty of room to do it." Bryan Singer said.

A Deadpool/X-Men crossover can wait though because as of now the two entities are still pretty much in a very good standing and any unnecessary involvement of the two might only backfire. As of now, a third Wolverine film is in the making as well as the sequel to "Deadpool".
