For the brand new single "No Problem," hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper collaborated with 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne. The song came out a day before the release of Chance the Rapper's mixtape called Chance 3.
Rolling Stone said the single debuted on the radio show Beats 1 by Zane Lowe on Thursday. Chance delivers a song which had a clear hook to the listeners. The two other singers helped add meaning to the song with their spot-on delivery of lyrics and raps.
Message for record labels
It was added in an Esquire report that Chance the Rapper wanted to primarily send a message to record labels and also his listeners. He began the song with "If one more label try to stop me, it's gon be some dread head ni**as in ya lobby."
The musician has refused to sign to a record label and considers himself highly independent in the industry. Chance the Rapper has certainly made it clear that he can do it on his own without any help from any record producer.
This new collaboration was described by Esquire as something similar to a bright Kanye West beat. West has previously worked with Kanye in the latter's album called "The Life of Pablo."
Chance 3 tracks
According to Rolling Stone, the new song is another release from the Chance 3 album following the release of "Blessings," "Angels" and "Somewhere in Paradise." This work is also Chance's first solo project since he released Acid Rap in 2013.
However, Chicago Tribune pointed out that the problem with Chance's new mixtape is the domination of the guests on the tracks like "No Problem." It added that one of the weakest singles in the record is Justin Bieber's "Juke Jam" with Towkio.
On the other hand, the same report highlighted that Chance the Rapper has grown so much in his career. It was in Acid Rap that pushed him to the top three years ago.
