Hayden Panettiere Postpartum Depression Update: 'Nashville' Star Checks Into Treatment Center; Asks Fans For 'Good Luck' As She Seeks Professional Help

Hayden Panettiere is asking for support from fans as she checks herself into a treatment center following her bouts with postpartum depression. Even after her stint at rehab, the "Nashville" star may still not have the strength to handle postpartum depression which was why she had to seek professional help.

According to Yahoo, Hayden Panettiere made the announcement on Twitter that she was seeking professional help. She admitted openly that the postpartum depression she had been suffering has impacted every aspect of her life.

She said that instead of being stuck with "unhealthy coping mechanisms" she will be taking the time to "reflect holistically" on her life and on her health too. Along with this message were the words, "Wish me luck!"

Hayden Panettiere Seeking Treatment In Utah

Although Hayden Panettiere directed a statement to the press to respect her privacy, sources were still able to find out where the "Nashville" actress will be seeking treatment. Sources have found that she will be seeking treatment in a Utah center. The exact name of the postpartum depression treatment center was not disclosed though.

Hayden Panettiere's postpartum depression started after she gave birth to her daughter, Kaya last December 2014. She welcomed her baby with Wladimir Klitschko, her fiancé.

ABC's 'Nashville' Cancellation

It's a possibility that ABC's cancellation of her show after four seasons has something to do with her not getting over her postpartum depression. Daily Mail reported that ABC cancelled "Nashville" at about the same time that Hayden Panettiere was seeking treatment.

Hayden Panettiere had been very open about her struggles with postpartum depression. She dissed those who question postpartum depression saying that they simply have no idea what they are talking about.

Not Ashamed

Hayden Panettiere also said that she should not be ashamed about her condition and she does not need to be afraid about what people will be thinking. She said that there is an unfortunate stigma that goes with the disorder.

Kaya, Hayden Panettiere's daughter, is now 17-months old. Her 39-year-old fiancé is still very much supportive of her.
