"No" singer Meghan Trainor fell during her performance on Thursday's "Tonight's Show." She slipped when she lost balance as she tried to grab the mic at the end of the performance.
Entertainment Tonight said the 22-year-old pop singer did a booty shake at the end of her "Me Too" number but she slipped on her six-inch heels when she turned around and faced the audience. After her slip, she remained lying on the floor and was joined by TV host Jimmy Fallon.
As he approached Trainor and lied down on the floor, Fallon commented with "Of every single dance move, grabbing the mic is the toughest. Standing ovation for Meghan Trainor, everybody!" The audience responded with loud cheers and a standing ovation after the live scenes.
On an Instagram post, the singer addressed the major slip immediately after her performance. "Might have fell down, but I KILLLED that sh*t hahaha #keepinitreal," she said in the caption.
She also told her fans through Twitter that she was OK despite falling on the stage. "I didn't feel it till hours later. I'm all good tho. Barely a scratch."
Trainor also retweeted a post from a fan who praised her for being able to handle the situation well. The fan noted that the "All About That Bass" singer did not ask the scene to be edited from the show.
According to Hollywood Life, many people also lauded Fallon for joining Trainor on the floor after she fell. It is evident that he treats his guests very well and even got the pop singer laughing even after she fell on the ground.
Many also observed that prior to the slip, the "No" singer was still showing off some great dance moves while wearing high heels. She appeared so confident that people did not worry she would fall.
