A baby is on the way for model Lara Stone.
This is the first child of the 28-year-old model with her husband David Walliams. The baby is due next year.
The couple confirmed the news to People magazine.
"We're very excited to announce we are expecting our first child," the expecting couple informed People magazine through a statement Wednesday. "We're both absolutely thrilled but ask you to please respect our privacy during this precious time."
Apart from the official announcement, the father-to-be shared his happiness with his followers on Twitter.
"Some wonderful news. My beautiful wife Lara is pregnant. We are having a baby! It is due next year and we both couldn't be happier. Dx," Walliams wrote.
The happy news has invited both advice and congratulatory comments from his fans and well-wishers.
"@davidwalliams huge congrats. But please don't be an annoying Belsize parent and let it cry for hours in the Everyman! Good luck with it," one of the well-wishers wrote. @davidwalliams Massive congratulations to you both! X" another fan wrote.
Stone, who started her modeling career with Elite Modeling Agency as a teen, started dating British comedian Walliams in 2009 the couple tied the knot in 2010.
