‘Battlefield 1’ Release Date, News & Update: 'The Great War' Trailer Reveals World War I Accurate History

The upcoming "Battlefield 1" revealed a historic take of its game settings with World War I concept. "The Great War," a YouTube channel tackling the events of the past, was even surprised of "Battlefield 1" accurate history that perfectly sums up the historical event.

According to Engadget, Indy Neidell, "The Great War" host, revealed the good and bad sides of "Battlefield 1." However, he also showed the video game's flaws and the somewhat tolerable part that didn't tell the World War I's situation well.

There were armies, too, wearing gears of other soldiers and taking different weapons. But it was also known that in World War I, militaries can take the belongings of their dead opponent.

The small inaccuracies in "Battlefield 1" were only added to include a touch of creativity to the game, Tech Times added. Hence, Indy Neidell explained that "Battlefield 1" was trying a fearless move to include life-like gears, vehicles and method in the game from World War I. "Battlefield 1" is set to be released on Oct. 21.
