A concerned citizen reported Sinead O'Connor has been missing in a town in Chicago and was confirmed by Wilmette Department of Police on Monday. However, the new reports claimed that the "Nothing Compares to You" hitmaker has been found and was taken to a hospital at the same day.
According to E! News, a statement from the Wilmette Department of Police cleared that Sinead O'Connor was located safe in a village in Chicago at about 1:45 p.m. CT. A source told WGN that the 49-year-old singer was seen in a hotel and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
However, as of this writing, there are no additional reports on the situation of Sinead O'Connor. The Irish songwriter went out for a bicycle ride on Sunday and didn't return since.
Later, in a first report made by TMZ , the loss of Sinead O'Connor has been considered as a "missing suicidal" after the police received a call from an unknown person. The anonymous caller said that the mother-of-four borrowed a bike at about 6:00 a.m. and not yet returning the ride.
People noticed that Sinead O'Connor posted a cryptic message on her Facebook message before she was gone, Daily Mail noted. The lengthy note was for his 28-year-old son, Jake, to take her 12-year-old brother, Shane Lunny from the child care, Tusla.
Sinead O'Connor, too, shared a snap of Harriet Tubman, which she also made as her cover image, along with a quote. "I had reasoned this out of my mind, there was one of two things I had a right to," the photo read.
"Liberty or death; if I could not have one I would have the other," the puzzled line continued. Today, Sinead O' Connor wrote another long message on her Facebook account calling it a "note for her so-called family" about suicidal thoughts.
