"Grand Theft Auto V" has gotten more interesting as Rockstar Games launched the game's latest update. During "GTA V" weekly event called, "Combat Week," which has started on May 13 and will run through Thursday, May 19, the publisher will be offering discounts on heavy artillery and vehicles from the Warstock supplier.
Considered as one of the bestselling video games of all time, "Grand Theft Auto V" has also become the fastest-selling entertainment product in history that has received extensive recognition including "Game of the Year" awards from several gaming publications. This famous action-adventure video game was first released on Sept. 17, 2013, for PS3 and Xbox 36, Nov. 18, 2014, for PS4 and Xbox One and April 14, 2015, for Microsoft Windows.
'Grand Theft Auto V' Rumors
Three years after "Grand Auto Theft V" release and several DLCs launches, no official updates has been heard from Rockstar Games regarding the current installment of their famous video game. But in March, rumors have it there might be a football-inspired "GTA V" DLC, Neurogadget notes.
In April, several reports circulated claiming there would be a new story-based DLC for "Grand Theft Auto V," noting some additional features such as horse riding and casino. But again, the speculations have not been confirmed.
'Grand Theft Auto' Online
As Rockstar Games keeps mum about the "Grand Theft Auto V" rumors, the game publisher was reportedly prioritizing the "Grand Theft Auto" Online. In fact, Rockstar has recently announced feature-rich updates will be launched for "GTA" Online in the coming weeks and months, Rockstar Newswire reveals.
In addition, Rockstar also revealed the furtherance of "Executives and Other Criminals" in the next massive "GTA" Online update. One of the largest "GTA" Online DLC since "Heists," "Executives and Other Criminals" started in 2015.
'Grand Theft Auto V' Combat Week
As part of the "Grand Theft Auto V" Combat Week event, items and services from Ammu-nation and Merryweather were reportedly on sale. According to GameSpot, "GTA" Online players can also double their GTA$ and RP in the new In and Out mode.
For the schedule to double GTA$ and RP, it will be offered in "Extraction V, "Beast vs. Slasher IV" and "Siege Mentality I" on May 18-19. Lastly, the new In and Out mode maps released on May 13 were set in the Grand Senora Desert, Los Santos International Airport and at Dignity Village.
No Single-Player DLC For 'Grand Theft Auto V'
Meanwhile, "Grand Theft Auto V" single-player DLC is still under deliberation, VG24/7 reports. However, the big numbers for "GTA" Online is an indication that Rockstar seems to be concentrating on multiplayer content as of the moment.
