"Grimm" Season 5 finale episode titled "Beginning of the End: Parts One and Two" is already making a lot of fans worried. According to Carter Matt, NBC recently teased that the final episode of the season "is so shocking, we can't show you anything from the second hour."
The official synopsis revealed that Nick (David Giuntoli) will be going on an all-out battle against Black Claw after making a strategic move against Hank (Russell Hornsby). "Grimm" Season 5 spoilers further note that this strategic move made against Hank will shock everyone.
This led to speculations that Hank will die in "Grimm" Season 5, which may also explain the reason behind the network's statement regarding the "shocking" twist. Apart from this mysterious shocker in the finale, it also looks like Nick will be coming face-to-face with Renard (Sasha Roiz).
The trailer for "Grimm" Season 5 finale also showed Diana (Hannah Loyd) playing with two dolls and making her parents, Renard and Adalind (Claire Coffee) kiss, reports Ecumenical News. Fans began speculating that this may eventually put Nick and Adalind's relationship to the test and Nick will ultimately discover that he also has feelings for Eve (Bitsie Tulloch).
The publication further notes that Hank will also have to face the reality that Renard has already taken control of the police department in "Grimm" Season 5. The extended trailer for the season finale showed Nick being told that things are starting to change.
