It looks like viewers will get to see a "Hamilton Carpool Karaoke" with Lin-Manuel Miranda and James Corden. The two were apparently spotted in a car together, weeks ahead of Cordon's big hosting stint at the Tony Awards, where Miranda's hit Broadway show is up for Best Musical.
James Corden has previously hinted that he's been wanting to have Lin-Manuel Miranda on his talk show's famous segment, "Carpool Karaoke." It has the host driving around town with a famous celebrity in the passenger seat. They would sing along to the music playing on the car radio while Corden interviews his guest as they cruise the roads.
Since James Corden is set to host the Tony Awards on June 12 for the first time, what better way to beef up promotion than to have him and Lin-Manuel Miranda working together? Miranda, who is the creator of "Hamilton," is the current toast of Broadway.
"I don't believe we should do it as part of the Tonys," he said about the idea of doing Carpool Karaoke with Lin-Manuel Miranda for the awards show, per E! Online. "We actually don't know if it's something we could or should do," James Corden teased.
However, a fan actually spotted James Corden and Lin-Manuel Miranda inside a car together, and that can only mean one thing --- a "Hamilton" Carpool Karaoke is coming to the small screen! The fan posted a photo of the two guys in the car as proof on Twitter.
Inquisitr confirms that the spotted car is indeed what Corden uses when he's doing the carpool segment for "The Late Late Show" on CBS. But whether this will air on the talk show or is in fact part of the Tony Awards remains to be seen.
