'My Heart Will Go On' Singer Celine Dion Tearfully Remembers Her Late Husband

Singer Celine Dion expressed her grief by saying that the past four months after the death of her husband has been "a different kind of hard." Her husband, René Angélil passed away after a long battle with throat cancer.

Dion said in an interview with ABC News that she saw him suffer which is the worse. The 48-year old singer expressed that despite not living with him physically, she lives with him inside of her. Dion explains that it has been hard to make decisions as she finds herself wondering what her late husband would do.

Just two days before his 74th birthday, Angélil died on Jan. 14. Dion and Angélil got married in 1994 while he was her manager in the music industry for decades.

The couple has three sons together, according to Yahoo. Fifteen-year-old Charles is the oldest in the family while the power couple has 5-year-old twins named Nelson and Eddy. Dion revealed that she told her oldest immediately of the sad news but waited for a few days to tell her youngest kids.

Dion and her family suffered another heartache when just after two days of her husband's death, Dion's brother died due to a similar type of cancer. Her brother, Daniel Dion, died on her husband's birthday.

The Grammy award winner explains that for her husband's birthday, Angélil came back to get her brother since he was too weak to fly on his own. She thought it was perfect the reassurance from her husband that he will take good care of his brother, according to Daily Mail.

After his death, Dion went back to the stage at her Las Vegas residency. Dion said that it was Angélil's wish for her to return to the stage after he had passed. Dion explains that "The Show Must Go On" is the one song that gives her a lot of strength since her late husband always used to say the same phrase.

The powerhouse singer plans to sing the mentioned song at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, which will be held in Las Vegas next week. The Quebec-born beauty is set to receive the Icon Award and will tour Europe afterwards to promote her new album.
