"The Flash" season 2 finale comes with plenty of action, humor and drama as The Flash and Zoom race each other, with the life of Joe West hanging in the balance. Cisco will also step-up in the finale in order to help The Flash defeat their powerful enemy while Jesse Wells and Wally West deal with the effects of being exposed to the Particle Accelerator.
"The Flash" season 2 finale is extra-emotional due to the recent death of Henry Allen -- Barry's biological father who has been imprisoned for years due to being falsely convicted of killing his wife. Henry was kidnapped by Zoom in the last episode and was then killed in front of Barry in the same house where his mother -- Nora Allen -- was also killed.
Unfortunately, the tragedies keep on coming to Barry in "The Flash" season 2 finale. Zoom also abducted Joe West and is threatening to end his life. Joe is considered by Barry as his second father after being taken in as his foster child.
In "The Flash" season 2 finale, Zoom will challenge The Flash in a race for Joe's life. Earth-2 Harrison Wells will also try to stop Barry from accepting Zoom's challenge. However, Barry will not listen to Wells due to his grief over losing his dad and his fear of losing his second dad.
"The Flash" season 2 finale spoilers suggest that the race will end at Allen's old residence where Barry will finally defeat Zoom, Fashion & Style shares. There are also rumors that Cisco Ramon will play a big role in helping the Flash defeat Zoom.
Cisco Ramon might use his powers, become the superhero called Vibe, and team-up with the Flash to end Zoom's evil plans. Other characters that might also help the Flash include Jesse Wells and Wally West.
Jesse and Wally were both exposed to an activated Particle Accelerator -- the same technology that gave Barry Allen his powers. Comic book fans know that Wally turns into Kid Flash while Jesse will be called Jesse Quick. Is "The Flash" season 2 finale the episode where fans will finally see those comic book aspects come into fruition? The finale airs May 24 on The CW AT 8 p.m. according to Yibada.
