In her latest music video for her single "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" heartbreak superstar Adele wore a single classy outfit. It was not just Adele's voice that captured the audience in the video but also her Dolce & Gabbana gown.
According to Hollywood Reporter, the 28-year-old English singer debuted her newest video worldwide along with the live broadcast during Sunday's 2016 Billboard Music Awards. She was seen in the video standing in front of a black background and wearing the dress which was adorned with large pink flowers.
It was added that Adele's stylist Gaelle Paul worked closely with her to choose her outfit for the music video. They ended up choosing the gown which was part of Dolce and Gabbana's spring 2016 collection.
Net-A-Porter indicated that the "silk-chiffon" that is "pussy-bow sequined" costs around $7,000. The dress is now sold out on the site.
"It was really about what he needed from the dress," Paul told Billboard. "It was quite dark, the background, and we needed something that would show up against that."
He added that the dress was also perfect for some scenes in the video which needed the outfit to flow along with Adele's movements. The stylist for the video, however, noted that they had a lot of discussions on the dress because they needed something with light fabric.
Paul loved how the dress created the effect that they needed for the video. "It's so on trend: the flow-y elevated hippie kind of thing that has been going for three to four seasons now," he noted.
Many netizens also adored the dress which many also wanted to wear "to float like Adele." Paul said fans can always experience this maxi dress since it has been made available by Dolce & Gabbana.
