‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generation’ Chapter 2 Spoilers: Is Naruto Really Dead?

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generation" Chapter 2 will see the continuation of events following the end of the first chapter featuring the next generation of Konoha ninja. As the new chapter opened to a glimpse into the future of Konoha, this led to the question: "Is Naruto really dead?"

This article contains spoilers for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generation" Chapter 2 and a recap of Chapter 1. Read on if you want to learn more about this story.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generation" Chapter 1 was released on May 9 in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. According to iDigitalTimes, the recently released chapter was very much the same as that of the "Boruto: Naruto The Movie."

What was interesting, though, is the first part of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generation" Chapter 1, which showed an adult version of Boruto. In the said scene, Boruto was fighting a mysterious ninja, who warns him about sending him to the same place as his father, the Seventh Hokage, Naruto.

This led to a debate as to whether or not Naruto will die in the future. In a forum on Mangafox, several users commented on the possibility that Naruto will die and how his death may have occurred.

The majority of users believed that Naruto is still alive. A user named FourEyedOwn notes that it is impossible to kill someone like the Seventh Hokage based on his powers such as Kyuubi and Sage Chakra.

Other fans believed that Naruto may not be dead and may, instead, be locked up in some sealed area. The villain in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generation" Chapter 2 also remains unclear.

However, a lot of fans believe that the villain in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generation" is Katasuke. As seen in Chapter 1, Katasuke seemed to have this evil look when Naruto refused to allow the participants to use the new Ninja Tools during the Chunin exam.

Do you think Naruto is dead? "Boruto: Naruto Next Generation" Chapter 2 is expected to be released in June 2016.
