Avengers Stars Paltrow, Downey Jr. and Evans Set Up A Surprise Visit To Avenger Fan With Cancer

Gwyneth Paltrow tried her best to fulfill a cancer patient's wish to meet "Iron Man" and "Captain America" in personal. Hence, Robert Downey Jr. along with Chris Evans reunites to meet their fan in San Diego, California on Monday.

The 18-year-old Ryan Wilcox has been diagnosed with leukemia and his only wish is to meet the "Avengers" stars. This is what Gwyneth Paltrow promised to do for the superheroes enthusiast, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"Let's do this," Gwyneth Paltrow captioned her snap featuring Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. already in the airport of San Diego. The ex-wife of Chris Martin is the first star who noticed Ryan Wilcox condition as the kid used the hashtag #ryanstrong on social media.

Gwyneth Paltrow then shared Ryan Wilcox's story and photo on her Instagram page tagging Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans, Collider reported. "Want to take a road trip? I will drive you guys down," the 43-year-old known food writer asked her co-stars to visit the kid.

Ryan Wilcox is team "Captain America" but love the whole "Avengers" movie. The post read that he loves to meet the entire actors and actresses of the 2012 Marvel movie, particularly Chris Evans.

Ryan Wilcox also wants to see Scarlett Johansson in person, but the appearance of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Gwyneth Paltrow is enough for him. In fact, "Iron Man" himself is fascinated by his story even though he is clearly on the side of "Captain America," as per International Business Times.


Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Gwyneth Paltrow spend the whole afternoon with Ryan Wilcox together with his family. They make sure that they make him happy by filling his bedroom wall with autographs.
