Brad Pitt Saves The Day: “Fight Club” Actor Helps Rescue Young Girl From Being Crushed On Set ‘Allied’

Brad Pitt came to the rescue of a young fan, which was in danger of being crushed on the set of the World War II film, "Allied" in Gran Canaria, Spain. The 11-year old girl was apparently stuck in the mob of fans when the "Fight Club" actor spotted and pulled her out from the crowd on Monday.

As Brad Pitt walked towards his fans on the set of "Allied," he noticed a young girl being pushed up against the fence by the crowd of fans, PEOPLE reported. As soon as Pitt spotted her, he made his way and offer his hand out to help her. Together with his two bodyguards, they worked to remove the young girl from the crowd and lifted her over the fence. The rescue was all caught on camera, Huffington Post added.

The girl was seen crying after she was pulled out toward the other side of the fence. Pitt appeared to comfort the young girl by holding her head until the medics declared she was unharmed, Pitt waved once more to the fans before walking away.


According to local news outlet, La Provincia, the young girl's name is Claudia. She was standing among Brad Pitt's excited fans waiting for the actor to appear. NY Daily reported that Claudia's mother, Maria Dolores Hernandez, she sought help from Brad Pitt as he was the only one who paid attention to what was happening to her daughter in the front row.

According to Variety, the World War II romantic thriller "Allied" is set to hit the theaters on Nov. 23. Marion Cotillard will act alongside Brad Pitt. Aside from the Canary Islands, the shooting is also taking place in London. "Allied" is directed by Robert Zemeckis and script written by Steven Knight.
