'Clash of Clans' May Update: Supercell Introduces Baby Dragon And Miner Troops; Includes Optional Updates & Bug Fixes

The anticipated "Clash of Clans" May update has finally arrived. According to reports, in the new update, Supercell introduces baby dragons, new miner troops and new spells. Read below to learn the details.

'Clash of Clans' May Update New Features

The long wait is over for the "Clash of Clans" May update because the anticipated patch is out, but apart from introducing the expected Friendly Challenge, it also brings a new miner troop and the adorable baby dragons.

Per iDigitalTimes, "Clash of Clans" players can unlock baby dragons in Town Hall 9. These new creatures have power mode boost, its attack speed and attack damage amounts reduce when they are deployed in group.

Aside from this, Supercell also brings the Miner troops. This new "Clash of Clans" troop first appeared in "Clash Royale." For those who wanted to include this troop in their offense/defense troop, you can unlock this at Town Hall 10. One dark elixir and one elixir spell were also added in the newly updated "Clash of Clans" gameplay.

'Clash of Clans' May Update Comes With Bugs And Fixes

Supercell has a history of releasing unpolished "Clash of Clans" update. Supercell received intense backlash following their December and March update. In fact, Parent Herald reported that the bugs in the "Clash of Clans" March update have killed the fun. Some fans lost interest in the game due to its failure to deliver clean updates.

It seems that the new "Clash of Clans" update is not clean either. Per Neurogadget, Supercell released an optional update and fixes following their recent update. "Clash of Clans" player endured several maintenance breaks due to minor changes and bug fixes.

Per the report, prior to the fixes the replays and live replays showed slightly inaccurate results but it is now fixed. It also disabled the dragging troops and spells on the queue and players can now see the Tesla when it is upgraded in matchmaking.

Supercell also fixed the "Clash of Clans" issue in the global chat where it crashes after 80 messages, the global chat will now scroll to the most recent message and the back button in the Layout Editor's Move All and Photo mode is now working correctly.
