Fans of "Five Nights at Freddy's" are in for more treats because aside from the games that Scott Cawthon constantly improves, a film is on the way. According to reports, the "Five Nights at Freddy's" film may feature the elements in "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location."
'Five Nights at Freddy's' Film To Feature Elements In 'Five Nights At Freddy's: Sister Location'
"FNAF" fans were delighted when Scott Cawthon released the first trailer of "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" last week. Per Parent Herald, the "Five Nights at Freddy's" spinoff will feature a female animatronic, who will likely be the boss. There are rumors that the new "FNAF" game will be set in an amusement park.
The fun is not over because according to the Bitbag, the animatronic in the "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" trailer might be featured in the "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie. The report suggests that the upcoming "FNAF" film is a good medium to feature the actual location or anything connected to "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location," especially that the new game has overtaken the pace of the film's development.
'Five Nights at Freddy's' Movie Still In the Works
Earlier this month, Scott Cawthon announced that the script for the "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie is still in the works. "The script is still being worked on. The people involved are taking the movie seriously, which is definitely a good thing!" Scott wrote on Steam as a response to one "FNAF" fan who asked about the film.
Scott also teases that the "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie will explore a new niche of horror that fans can relate to. "The story really lends itself to being a movie, and it taps into a largely unexplored niche of horror that a lot of people will be able to relate to," he told the Hollywood Reporter.
The "Five Nights at Freddy's" creator did not respond as to how long it will take to finish the "FNAF" film, but there are rumors that it might be coming out soon. Parent Herald previously reported that the "FNAF" movie might come out this year. However, fans should still take this report with a grain of salt because it is not confirmed yet.
'Five Nights at Freddy's' Film To Feature The 'Bite Of 87'
Earlier this year, the "Five Nights at Freddy's" film director, Gil Kenan posted a photo of what seems to be a head of an animatronic. He captioned it with, "Watch that thumb." Many believe that the post is a tease that "FNAF" will feature the "Bite of 87" lore where an animatronic bite the head of a child.
