Leonor Varela has expanded her family.
The 39-year-old actress gave birth to a baby boy and confirmed the news through her Twitter account, Tuesday, Nov.20.
"Matteo V. Akoskin is finally in our arms!" the new mom wrote, posting a cute photo of her bundle of joy. This is the first child for the Chilean beauty with producer Lucas Akoskin.
The Dallas star's Twitter account has been overflowing with messages from her well-wishers since then.
"@Leonorvarela congratulations!!!! he is beautiful!!!!" one of the comments appeared on Twitter said. "@ Leonorvarela Congratulations! Every child is a promise of life, the opportunity to start something unprecedented. A kind and gentle miracle. Abrzs!" another follower wrote.
The proud mom later thanked all her well-wishers. "thank you very much for all your greetings and blessings! I can not answer them all, but each Reaches me ❤" she wrote, later.
The actress, who has starred in television film "Cleopatra", confirmed her pregnancy in July. "The couple are over the moon," her rep told People magazine after confirming the pregnancy news.
Varela, who started acting with children's film "Pony Trek", shot to fame with her role in Chilean soap opera "Tic Tac".
