A Fanless PC That Can Keep Its Cool And Still Be Hot—Silent Power PC

The days of the traditional tower PC as we remember them are long gone. The contemporary takes on the personal computer are far sleeker, some might even say chicer than their 90's predecessors. Processors have picked up GB's of speed, memory has expanded exponentially and mother-boards have verged on the borderline microscopic. But what's more, some companies are even ditching the essentials for a more creative approach at high-speed processing.

A newly developed company paid for by German crowd-funding, the Silent Power PC is an innovation unlike any other in both appearance and components. Taking the traditional cooling fans and coiled ribs out, and replacing them with what looks like a copper scouring brush, the German designers are creating a unique blend of simple low-tech alternatives and complex physics to serve sustainability needs while maintaining optimal quality of technology.

"Whether as a gaming PC, console, home entertainment system or workstation-power-hungry tasks are now done silently" spokespersons for Silent Power PC said. "The Silent Power uses copper metal foam as a heat sink."

"Copper conducts heat better than any other industrial metal, [and] due to the structure of foam, the heat can spread over an enormous area."

And the creators say that is just the tip of the iceberg. The copper cooling system is an ideally new model for heat dissipation, cooling 500 times more than conventional fin-type heatsink systems. Creating its own form of microcirculation, Silent Power PC says that the warmer it gets, the greater the cooling capacity of the entire system.

Perfect for the modern office, with its sleek design and quiet appeal, creators nicknamed the Silent Power the "ideal workstation".

"While your colleagues in business or in the workplace must endure their power-hungry applications with the loud background noise of a motor fan, you can silently run all of your computationally intensive applications" spokespersons for Silent Power PC said. "You are also ways connected. Should there be a network failure in the company, the Silent Power will switch automatically to WLAN mode, so you can work in your workplace without any interruption."

Offering competitive specs, such as 8 and 16 GB Ram accompanied by 500GB to 1TB of expandable memory, at a low introductory price that is surely to drop once mass production is initiated, the brand is turning the tide for the dying PC industry. Creating something affordable, innovative and sustainable, the mass appeal of Silent Power PC's is a phenomenon to be expected. And if you expect to get your hands on one you'll have to wait for the 2.0 version as the first run is already completely sold out-of all three models!
