Deleted Kissing Scenes Of Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo In 'Descendants Of The Sun' Director's Cut DVD?

The "Descendants of the Sun" director's cut DVD will be released in the second half of 2016 and will include deleted scenes from the hit Korean drama, reports Asia One. According to the publication, the director's cut DVD will also feature a re-edited version of its final episode along with behind-the-scenes clips.

A lot of fans expressed their excitement over these deleted clips from "DOTS," as many were hoping to see more from Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki's characters in the finale episode. Many fans hoped to see a proposal take place between Yoo Si Jin and Kang Mo Yeon in the epilogue, but were disappointed when the special episode only aired behind-the-scenes footage.

There is also a possibility that the "DOTS" DVD will include a closer version of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's kissing scene at a clock tower in Greece. As most fans can recall, the said scene was zoomed out when the episode aired on TV.

'Descendants Of The Sun' Season 2 Updates

KBS Drama Department Head Jung Sung Ho recently confirmed that "Descendants of the Sun" Season 2 will definitely happen. According to Asia Times, Jung explained that the sequel will be a way for the network to "repay viewers" for their overwhelming support for the show.

It remains to be seen, however, whether the sequel will still star Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo. Writer Kim Won Suk has already announced that he has no plans of doing a second season for "Descendants of the Sun."
