"Big Bang Theory" Season 10 spoilers reveal that Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) may get engaged in the upcoming season of the CBS series. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Steve Molaro hinted that there may be some progress in Shamy's relationship.
"Those two move famously glacially, so one microscopic baby step at a time for them," he said.
With regards to the possibility that Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) will move out into their own home without Sheldon, the showrunner explained that their roommate situation will still continue in "TBBT" Season 10. Molaro shared that the Leonard-Sheldon-Penny situation will remain as one of the show's building blocks.
Molaro also addressed rumors that "Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will serve as the series finale for the CBS show. The showrunner said that they are not thinking of that possibility right now since they still have 24 more episodes to go.
Rumors surrounding the possible cancellation of "Big Bang Theory" in Season 10 came after Kunal Nayyar hinted that the show may end after the upcoming season, reports E! News. According to Nayyar, things are looking that way based on their contract.
"Look, next season, as it stands on our contract, could be the last season of 'Big Bang Theory,'" he said.
Nayyar, however, remains optimistic that "Big Bang Theory" may still live on for more seasons. The actor shared that he is still willing to star in the show as long as fans still want to see them on the small screens.
