HP releases videos of the beastly Windows 10 Mobile powered by HP Elite X3. The high specs of Windows 10 Mobile phone was first mentioned last December when it showed up on AnTuTu under the name HP Falcon. Now, HP is working hard to get the Elite X3 ready for release.
The new video shows the 5.96-inch Elite X3 connecting to its Continuum dock so that it can be used like a Windows 10 PC when connected to a big screen monitor. The Elite X3 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The HP Elite X3 is set to make a lot of noise for Windows Phone as it gives fans a platform and the opportunity to buy high-end Windows 10 Mobile handset that is not manufactured by Microsoft and is not a Lumia phone. The pricing and availability of the said gadgets are unknown at the moment.
The phone features a Gorilla Glass 4 protected 5.96-inch AMOLED display, carrying a 1440 x 2560 resolution. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 820 chipset with a quad-core 2.15GHz CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM is inside along with 64GB of expandable native storage. Those seeking additional memory can access the 2TB capacity microSD slot.
We can enjoy a 16MP Rear camera that is so perfect for shooting in wide angles, while an 8MP front-facing camera that is also perfect for shoots selfies and handles video chats is also a feature to watch out for. The unit is IP67 certified which makes it possible to be submerged in up to 1 meter of water (3.28 feet) for as long as 30-minutes. A 4150mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Qi and PMA wireless charging is supported. The Elite x3 also features a fingerprint scanner and an iris reader. Windows 10 Mobile is pre-installed, and the phone does work with Continuum, the technology that turns the device into a computer.
