The "Alaskan Bush People" on Friday night showed a special "lost" episode at the time that Billy Brown needed some medical attention. How do you think the family will fare in the civilization?
Leaving Browntown
Titled "Surviving the Lower 48," the episode begins with the whole Brown family leaving the bush (via Examiner.com). They were headed to Lower 48 to have their patriarch's seizure disorder get treated. They had to live in Seattle, Washington as Billy gets his medication, and while they're at it, they try to cope with the modern way of living. But surely they miss their own ways and to lessen that feeling, Ami and Billy brought them to a road trip.
Further Down Lower 48
Using a 33-year-old RV that they got for a deal, the Brown family went further down the Lower 48 to San Diego. On their way to their destination, the motor of the RV went on fire and had to be replaced. But since it would take long to fix, they went into another deal for the RV a man on the lot was not using. In exchange, they had to work at the salvage yard and were able to move 50 tons of metal.
They stopped by a hunting area in Northern California and caught a wild boar. They skinned it, prepared the meat and roast it when they reached their destination. The beach was warm and the Brown children had a great time walking on the shore and making sand castles.
"Alaskan Bush People" airs every Friday at 9 p.m. ET on Discovery Channel.
