Pedophile Richard Huckle Gets 22 Life Sentences For Taking Advantage Of Poor Malaysian And Cambodian Children

A Christian school teacher from England and known pedophile Richard Huckle has received punishment on Monday for the crimes he has made involving Malaysian and Cambodian children as he is set to serve 22 life sentences.

Huckle called himself as an expert in the online world when it comes to sexually abusing children. He even authored a how-to guide for other people to follow in his footsteps as a pedophile. The book is said to be a 60-page guide entitled Pedophiles & Poverty: Child Lover Guide. In one of his online posts, he said that impoverished children are much easier to seduce than middle-class Western kids. He added, "I still plan on publishing a guide on this subject sometime."

In another online post, he said that he hit the jackpot because a three-year-old girl, it was not clear if she is Malaysian or Cambodian, has become loyal to him like a dog.

Huckle was arrested in 2014 but him preying on children ran for eight years before he was busted. Prosecutors have accused the man of raping and abusing nearly 24 children ranging from 6 months old to 12 years. However, police officials believe that Huckle victimized more than 200 children. A British judge said on Monday that the book published by Huckle is "truly evil."

Judge Peter Rook sentenced the 30-year-old to 22 life terms. All orders him to serve a minimum of 25 years behind bars. Rook pointed out during the sentencing that it was clear Huckle plans to continue the same lifestyle if he was not arrested, The Washington Post reported.

Accordingly, Huckle first visited Malaysia back in 2005 when he was 19 years old. He then traveled to Cambodia in 2006. He reportedly targeted two sisters in his Cambodia trip who are four- and six-year-olds. He reportedly showed a front as a Christian who had passion for teaching English and spreading bible stories. He has also posted thousands of photos of him on Facebook interacting with children. He was also included in a promotional video created by the British Council in Malaysia.

Investigators were also able to discover Huckle's library of more than 20,000 obscene images and videos showing his assaults. He attempted to sell these images and videos on the "Dark Web" in exchange of Bitcoins. He also had a list of names that reached 191. However, authorities were not able to file a case for each of the names as they lacked evidence.

Huckle said in a statement that his actions were made because he misjudged the affections he received from the children he worked with. He has been charged with 71 counts of sex abuse but pleaded not guilty to all of them earlier this year. He later admitted the offenses and it reportedly took place from 2006 to 2014.
