Each week, Phonearena features one app from the thousands published using an app building tool, called The Machine. This app was selected because it demonstrates the quality of content, design and relevance that mobile apps can bring to groups trying to make a difference in their community.

With more than 1 Billion smartphones now active in the world, 84% of those users are spending at least 1 hr. each day on their smartphones. So Phonearena compiled some of the best applications for Android O.S and iPhone platforms. The top 2 downloads for May 31st to June 6th of this year are available and in this latest video is a review of some top Apps for Android and iPhone rated last May 24th to may 30th by phonearena for you reference.

For iPhones:

Frame.io, This app is part of a video project collaboration and review platform, made to make a freelancer video editor's life easier. The idea behind it is to be able to store project versions, chats between the freelancer and the client, and client comments about the product in one place. Now, with the iOS app, you can follow the progress on your project, or the client's comments, on the go.

Marsbot, Marsbot is not a chat bot, rather, an app that will keep tabs on your daily habits and learn about places you like to visit. Then, it will recommend new places for you via "text", though, you can ask it for recommendations on demand, too. 50% cool, 50% creepy, a 100% defining edge on what smart technologies are all about.

For Android O.S

Boomerang Notification, this app will let you save your notifications when you dismiss them and let you quickly set up reminders. It's a solution to the problem where you lose your notification permanently when you decide you don't want to deal with it right now and swipe it away.

Footej Camera, a camera with a clean, simple interface, which gives the user access to manual mode, GIF shooting mode, and slow motion video. Extended features, such as differentiating focus and exposure points, and shutter speed if the phone's hardware supports it.

Check the full list out above, let us know which ones you liked, and certainly do tell if there's an awesome new app you know of, but we managed to miss!
