"Supernatural" Season 12 spoilers hint on the possibility that Lucifer is still alive and will return in the upcoming episodes of The CW series. In a recent interview with Bustle, Misha Collins revealed that there used to be a scene in one of the earlier drafts for the finale about Lucifer's whereabouts.

As most fans can recall, Lucifer was nowhere to be found when Amara ejected him from Castiel. Collins shared that the answer to Lucifer's location did not end up making it into the final draft of "Supernatural" Season 11 finale.

This led to speculations that Lucifer will definitely appear on "Supernatural" Season 12. There have been a lot of theories online about the possibility that Lucifer was able to find a new vessel.

While it remains to be seen whether Lucifer will be making an appearance on "Supernatural" Season 12 or not, Collins hinted on the return of a mystery character. Collins refused to reveal the identity of this mystery character, but teased on something for fans to think about.

"Mum's the word," he said.

Does this mean Mary Winchester's return is permanent or is he talking about something else? Meanwhile, Gack Hollywood reports that "Supernatural" Season 12 is expected to focus on the Men of Letters as the next big bad that Sam and Dean will be battling with in the upcoming season.
