Khloe Kardashian Worried About Her Baby Inheriting 'Fat Gene'

Khloe Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom have been trying hard to have a baby. After years of trying to conceive naturally, the couple announced in June that they were starting fertility treatments to fulfil their baby dreams.

However, now the 27-year-old Kardashian is reportedly much too worried about her baby's looks and whether he/she will inherit a "fat gene."

"I know they joke about things they want in their kid," a source close to the couple told Hollywood Life. "Lamar jokes about how if they had a son, he doesn't want him to be overly tall like he is. Khloe doesn't care that much about having a boy or a girl, but she jokes about how she doesn't want the kid to have a fat gene."

However, Odom loves the way his wife is. "She's built the way a real woman should be," Hollywood Life quoted the source, repeating Odom's words.

According to the source, even though Kardashian has taken a break from her fertility treatments to host "The X Factor" the couple has babies on their brain.

"I know they're trying. Make no mistake, they're a young married couple and I know she loves him and she's a freak so it wouldn't surprise me if Khloe were pregnant, but I really don't know," the source continued to Hollywood Life. "They would make great parents and I know that child would be spoiled by everyone in the family. It will come in time. They're doing what they can to have one but it's not everything they think about."

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star married NBA player Odom in Sept. 2009.

Last year, during a "Today" show, Kardashian shared her infertility problems and desire to have children.

"It's so hard. I never knew about ovulation and the limited amount of time you have to get pregnant . . . No one ever taught me that," Us Weekly quoted Kardashian as saying. "We would love to have kids. But when you have schedules such as ours, it's really hard to hit that mark. So it's frustrating, but definitely. I want to have kids."
