"Battlefield 1" stole the stage on EA's first press conference on June 12, 2016, as it launched a new "Battlefield 1" gameplay trailer. Battlefield 1 game's standard price is £44 on PC and £49 on PS4 and Xbox One.
Axes are now among the ranks of melee weapons, with sabers, bayonets, and shovels. Planes will be there in "Battlefield 1" and the "Ultimate Vehicles" are making their way into the game.
The "Battlefield 1" official gameplay trailer started with several American soldiers inside a trapped tank - one soldier was shown with his ears ringing after a pistol fired while a squad of Germans bangs their weapons against the armored sides. Next, a group of biplanes flies on aerial combat overhead as the soldiers below engage in another progressive one. There's one quick shot in Battlefield 1 trailer of bayonet combat showing a charging enemy is stopped in his tracks before being slammed to the ground, according to Digital Trends.
Before the end of the trailer, a flaming massive zeppelin crashes into and completely obliterates a town. The ruined airship will remain on the ground after it falls, bringing new obstacles and cover for both teams. "Battlefield 1" trailer ended with a cliff-hanger: a group of Arabian fighters on horses trying to conquer a Frontline Camouflage Train but seemed unsuccessful when shot by the train's artillery.
"Battlefield 1" trailer intensified the horrors of war. It will hit Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 21 worldwide.
Games Radar adds "Battlefield 1" is also putting in something more that should keep players feeling fresh and different: dynamic weather. Depending on when you decide to fire up the game, a level may be covered in rain or fog, which is a disadvantage for snipers. EA promises that weather change is unpredictable made to stimulate players' tactical choices posed by each environment.
The new "Battlefield 1" game features a 3D map, allowing you to see the real-time before you start the game. For instance, if an airship is covering an area on the map, it's clearly displayed, giving you a chance to camp far from the reach of its massive cannons. Player movement has also received an overhaul in the Battlefield 1, with a "high vault" allowing you to reach a high piece of cover.
During the EA Play 2016 press conference, they announced that there will be a "Battlefield 1" open beta this summer, but there are no details beyond that at the moment. Haven't seen the official "Battlefield 1" gameplay trailer yet? Watch the new cinematic trailer below:
