"UnReal" Season 2 debuted last week and a number of new characters have been introduced on the twisted show that is about manipulating the words and actions of the women fighting for a bachelor.
In the second season of "UnReal," one of the new characters is Romeo, the sidekick of Darius. Darius is the new suitor on the show Everlasting. Actor Gentry White, who plays the role of Romeo, revealed more about the character's relationship with Rachel and what his real intentions are.
Hollywood Life reported that Romeo has caused drama in the first episode of "UnReal" season 2 and White talked about how close his character and Darius are very close. Romeo is the sports manager of the current suitor in Everlasting who is also the cousin of Darius. White's character has been described as savvy, quick-witted and a businessman. Despite all these, Romeo cares a lot for his cousin and will do anything in order to get Darius into a better standing in his football career.
White shared in his recent interview, "Like I said, Romeo and Darius are family first and foremost. They grew up together and have always had one another's back. Darius would not be where he is as a successful football star without Romeo, and Romeo's career thrives based on Darius' success."
In the first episode, Romeo and Rachel hook up but White noted that there might be more to it than just that. As the title of the show itself, White noted that there is a motive in everything that his happening in "UnReal." White also said that Romeo being around on set is mainly to see that Darius is going in the right direction. White teased that despite their best efforts to keep everything in place and according to plan, it might not end the way they want it to be as he said being part of Everlasting might not be the best move.
The actor also shared how "UnReal" Season 1 and 2 are different. White said that the second season tackles race inequality in society now as well as touches on topics about women and their role in the world.
It has also been reported recently that the viewers of "UnReal" has more than doubled to 1 million since the "UnReal" Season 2 debut.
