Parenting Tips: A New Product Is Out To Help Parents Not Forget About Tending To Their Kids

Many parents are guilty of forgetting their children, especially when they take them to the mall. It happens when a parent is too preoccupied or overwhelmed with a lot of things going on in their head. Forgetting that you have a child with you is unacceptable, but understandable if you are going through a lot in life. The good news is that there is now a device that would help you remember not just your child, but even other valuables that are often forgotten at the back of your vehicle.

According to Yahoo Finance, General Motors has a product that will help forgetful parents have an organized thought whenever they take their kids outside their house. It is not only in supermarkets or at malls that some parents could leave their kids alone, but even at the back of their car.

In fact, research made by the organization No Heat Stroke shows that about 37 kids die annually due to being left alone inside their parent's hot cars since the year 1998. That number is quite alarming that General Motors decided to come up with a good solution to solve it. Most of these kids who died were only 4 years old and below.

The giant car company came up with a technology that would remind parents that they have a child onboard that they shouldn't forget before they leave the car. This product is called the "Look In Rear Seat," which comes with a warning sound along with a speedometer that would lead the person to look in the rear seat of the car when he or she is about to leave the vehicle. This one is already available in their 2017 GMC Acadia models. If you are familiar with the "Fasten Seatbelt" warning voice, this one is very much like it.
