"Sherlock Season 4" gives Benedict Cumberbatch as the unconventional Holmes an enemy that rivals James Moriarty (Andrew Scott) in the person of Culverton Smith (Toby Jones). However, Culverton Smith may succeed in "Sherlock Season 4" where Professor James Moriarty failed, and that is to isolate Holmes from John Watson (Martin Freeman) and his small gang.
The Daily Mail reports that "Sherlock Season 4" continues filming through hell or high water - in the case of 221B Baker Street in London, heavy rains. Benedict Cumberbatch was seen braving the rains and getting his unruly locks drenched while filming with "Not Safe For Work" actress Sian Brooke as they shot scenes for "Sherlock" outside 221B Baker Street.
John Watson and Mary (Martin Freeman's onscreen and offscreen wife Amanda Abbington) were also on the "Sherlock" set at 221B Baker Street despite the heavy downpour. Sian Brooke, whose character in "Sherlock Season 4" is yet to be revealed, confers with Holmes in her bright red dress.
Whatever her role, Sian Brooke appears to be a new ally for Sherlock Holmes. Among other London locations, fan buzz placed Sian Brooke and Sherlock Holmes on top of the Jubilee Bridge with Benedict Cumberbatch clutching a white paper, which may be the "Sherlock Season 4" script or a page of clues.
According to a Den Of Geek report, however, the unified front at 221B Baker Street may not last long as "Harry Potter" actor Toby Jones is out for Holmes' blood. In reference to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic villain, Toby Jones as Culverton Smith will lay out a plan of vendetta in "Sherlock Season 4" with the ultimate goal of ensuring Holmes' death.
If "Sherlock Season 4" uses the classic text for a modern take, Benedict Cumberbatch may thread his loneliest road yet and face the gravest danger isolated from new parents John and Mary Watson and all his regular allies. This may explain why photos on The Daily Mail see Benedict Cumberbatch showing a seemingly death-weary Holmes on the "Sherlock Season 4" set.
Den Of Geek reports that fans may expect "Sherlock Season 4" to follow a New Year premiere this 2017 on BBC. Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, Amanda Abbington, Toby Jones and Sian Brooke will be joined by series regulars Mark Gatiss, Una Stubbs and Louise Brealey in "Sherlock Season 4."
