Ali Fedotowsky And Her "Pissed Off Uterus": Former "Bachelorette" Talks About Uterine Irritability

Former "The Bachelorette" star Ali Fedotowsky has uterine irritability taking the final 30 days of her pregnancy. According to Ali Fedotowsky, because of her condition, doctor's orders say she has to stay off her feet on "modified bed rest."

People reports that Ali Fedotowsky expressed her frustration that the fun has been taken somewhat out of the last eight weeks of her pregnancy. The former "The Bachelorette" star has regular daily contractions, which Ali Fedotowsky describes as her body preparing for labor.

The Bump describes uterine irritability to bear some resemblance to menstrual cramps. The contractions and pain under uterine irritability are much lighter compared to real contractions when actual labor sets in.

According to People, Fedotowsky said that what upsets the former "The Bachelorette" star most is being unable to continue with her preparations for welcoming her baby with Kevin Manno. Although the former "The Bachelorette" star can still go from place to place, her doctor has ordered her to avoid most chores.

"I can go places, but if I'm at home, I can't be doing dishes or laundry, or even walking my dog," Fedotowsky said. "I have to be on the couch with my feet up and resting."

Kevin Manno further explained the need for the former "The Bachelorette" star to stay off her feet. Whenever Ali Fedotowsky is physically active, uterine irritability causes her belly to harden and feel heavy, almost like a bowling ball.

For the most part uterine irritability is more about discomfort and is no cause for worry. However, what the former Bachelorette should avoid is for uterine irritability to develop into pre-term labor or early labor.

Fortunately, Kevin Manno is well clued in and, Ali Fedotowsky said, completely supportive of all her needs. The former "The Bachelorette" star and Kevin Manno are expecting a baby girl.
