"The Elder Scrolls 6" is officially in the works. That is according to Todd Howard in his most recent interview during a livestream on E3.
"The Elder Scrolls 6" Release Date
During YouTube's E3 2016 live coverage, Todd Howard admitted that "The Elder Scrolls 6" will be one of Bethesda Game Studios priority but sadly, not at this time. The game company will eventually work on the game, however, it will take some time before "TES 6" becomes a reality.
Howard admitted that "The Elder Scrolls 6" is something that they love and that they will definitely create the game. "I have to be careful what I say-it's a very long way off," Howard said.
The head of Bethesda also admitted that the company has a lot in mind for "The Elder Scrolls 6" and that it is difficult to say what the game content would be once the game starts its development. Howard is also thinking that critics of "TES 6" may question Bethesda if there is even the possibility to create such a game if they still do not have the technology to produce it. Thus, the developer admitted that the game will take a lot of time for fans to know its release date.
Bethesda Working on Other Projects
Since "The Elder Scrolls 6" is still a long way from becoming a reality, Bethesda now is working on other two big projects that may come out even before "TES 6." As Howard admitted himself, their company do not rush on development.
"We think very long term," Howard said. "We're not a developer that's going to rush something like this out.
