A second baby is reportedly on the way for Jessica Simpson. Us Weekly confirmed the 32-year-old singer is expecting her second baby, months after giving birth to her first child, a girl.
"It definitely wasn't planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again," a source told Us Weekly, confirming the pregnancy news.
However, the expecting mom is yet to confirm the news.
Simpson and her fiancé Eric Johnson welcomed their daughter Maxwell Drew on May 1 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The bundle of joy weighed 9 pounds and 13 ounces at birth. The latest reports come at a time when Simpson and Johnson are getting ready to marry in December in Hawaii.
Though Simpson was scared to give birth naturally, the arrival of her first child gave her a new perspective about life.
"I am so in love with baby Maxwell. I want to cry every time I look at her," she shared her feelings on Twitter, shortly after giving birth.
The singer reported her joy and excitement as a mother after baby Maxwell's entry into her life. "Motherhood is a dream," Us Weekly quoted Simpson as telling Katie Couric back in September. "It really is absolutely amazing."
Simpson, who gained 70 pounds during pregnancy, struggled to get her pre-pregnancy body back. However, during Halloween, Simpson posted a few photographs on her website showing off her slim figure in a body-hugging Halloween costume along with fiancé Eric Johnson dressed up as William Wallace of "Braveheart" and cute baby Maxwell Drew dressed up as a chicken.
The proud mother enjoyed sharing her thoughts frequently with her five million followers on Twitter.
"I am so grateful for my new lil family! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!" she wrote Nov.22.
