The ultimate game of the season, the 2016 NBA Finals Game 7, is up for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors! It's been a pretty tight game for the two teams, with an amazing ramp up of points by the Cleveland Cavaliers, who took the first quarter for Game 7 with 23 points, just beating out the Golden State Warriors at 22.
The Warriors took a stab at racking up on points, as Festus Ezeli took on the opening for the team and ended up missing on his first attempts, while Draymond Green went in for a dunk, News AU reported. Harrison Barnes, with Green led the team to an early 8-4 advantage via 3 consecutive three-pointers.
Stephen Curry was also another force to reckon with for the Golden State with another three-pointer, keeping the team ahead with 11-10 against the Cavs. Lebron James made a comeback and took the Cavs ahead during the game, giving the Cavs a 14-13 lead post J.R. Smith's successful dunk.
Kevin Love helped the Cavs take the first quarter, after surviving four offensive rebounds, and ended the quarter time with a 23-22 lead for the Cavaliers. Adrenaline-filled fans cheered for their own teams, with the Warriors, however, closing the quarter for the NBA Finals game 7 with 49-42.
Q3 for NBA Finals Game 7 saw the Warriors blazing the Oracle arena as Andre Iguodala gained possession with just four seconds left, managing to put a tough hit in the basket, with the Cavaliers a point behind closing the third quarter at 76-75 in favor of the Warriors. With 11 ties (not to mention 20 lead changes), the Cavs tied it up with the Warriors at 89-89 with less than 3 minutes left for the fourth quarter, the Guardian reported.
LeBron James swung back against Kyrie Irving for Q4, with the latter just missing a runner. An off-balanced left elbow short led James to the floor after a Draymond Green fouled up James' dunk. The crowds went wild as James was helped up, barely missed a free throw at 6:05 seconds remaining.
But James went on to get the second free throw in for the Cavaliers and the third in as well. And the Cavs win 93-89!
