"The Winds of Winter" remains to be the most anticipated book to date. Fans of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series have been waiting for the long overdue book for four years and counting, yet the sixth installment remains in the dark. According to new reports, all dragons will die in "TWOW" and its release date is still indefinite.
Daenerys And Her Dragons Will Die In 'The Winds of Winter'
According to iDigitalTimes, the magic behind the "ASOIAF" and "Game of Thrones" is tied into the Dragons and the Others. Per the report, the rebirth of the dragons and the return of the Others will bring big surprises and twists in "The Winds of Winter."
Unfortunately, for those who love Daenerys and her dragons, there is a big possibility that they will not survive in "The Winds of Winter. The report notes that Daenerys is not meant to be a ruler but a conqueror at least, this is what Daario told her but things won't be easy because she is not enough to save the Targaryen dynasty.
Daenerys is barren and cannot restore her lineage. However, Jon Snow or Aegon can. Daenerys will rule by force and forge the Seven Kingdoms, but this will not last long. It will be enough to save the Westeros from endless winter, but at least one of her dragon will be stolen by Euron Greyjoy. If the Others, the maesters or Euron kill one of her dragons, the magic will fade and this ensures a peaceful Westeros. Is this what you want to see in "The Winds of Winter?"
'The Winds of Winter' Release Date Remains Indefinite
Meanwhile, according to Yibada, there is still no definite date as to when "The Winds of Winter" will hit the bookshelves. On a side note, George RR Martin questioned Stephen King how he writes his book so fast.
Per Christian Times, King admitted that he writes every day and commits to finishing six pages daily. As a response, George RR Martin said, "You always get six pages? You never get constipated? You never get up and go get the mail, and think 'Maybe I don't have any talent and should have been a plumber?'"
Per Esquire, had Martin wrote with the same speed as King, he would have finished the "ASOIAF" series in 2003. At this time, fans would not be wondering when "The Winds of Winter" will arrive since the book was done over a decade ago.
When do you think will "The Winds of Winter" arrive? Are you confident that Martin can still finish the book given his age? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
