'Grey's Anatomy' Season 13 Air Date, Rumors, Spoilers, News & Updates: Casting In Trouble; No Time Jump Confirmed?

The medical-based drama "Grey's Anatomy" is expected to return with much fervor and vigor in its season 13 run. Also, there are indication of the casting in trouble. Many are wondering whether the series would have a time jump or continue with what season 12 has left behind.

Watching the shadows of the cast of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13, fans and enthusiasts are expecting a twisted storyline and casting being altered. Surprisingly, there are notions that Kevin McKidd would not only be reprising his role in "Tulip Fever" but he is affirmed to reprise his role as Dr. Owen Hunt in the next season, reports MNG.

Looking back, it has been noted that Kevin McKidd became a regular cast during the season 5 run of "Grey's Anatomy." While McKidd has been confirmed to return, Ellen Pompeo was the first cast to close the deal into bringing back her Dr. Meredith Grey role in the upcoming "Grey's Anatomy" season 13.

Since no time jump is expected to happen, viewers are expecting that the next episode would connect with what has transpired in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 episode 24 titled "Family Affair." It was the episode that depicted the marriage of Owen and Amelia and it was also the finale of the 12th season of the ABC series.

While rumors of casting in trouble erupt, another rumor is looming at hand. Parent Herald formerly reported that Meredith, Alex and Riggs might be tangled in a brawl of love. The course of Meredith's relationship with Alex and Riggs would be an interesting story to follow in the upcoming scenes of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13.

Strong inclinations have already been depicted that the series would not render any time jump at all but would continue to showcase the battle of hearts, of lives and of health. For fans and followers of the series, "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 is slated for premiere on ABC on Sept. 22.
